Almaty Regional Museum of Local History named after M. Tynyshpaev

According to the program “Rukhani zhangyru”, the 2nd year students of the specialty “Chemistry-Biology” and the curator Ukusheva T.K. visited the Almaty Regional Museum of Local Lore on November 25, 2021. Purpose: to give an idea of the local history museum and local historian Mukhametzhan Tynyshpayev; to increase the horizons, cognitive abilities of students, to support and develop interest in the history of their native land; to educate them a sense of respect for their ancestors and love for their native land. The museum’s funds contain materials about the natural resources, flora and fauna of the Zhetysu region, archaeological values, household items of the Kazakh people, works of applied art, folk poets, heroes, statesmen, historical events. In addition, about veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers who made efforts for the development of agriculture, etc. To date, things related to achievements in the field of economics, culture, education, and healthcare are being collected in the Almaty region. The students showed interest in each exhibit, talked to each other, expressed their impressions.
