On November 23, 2021, an online “ Career Fair -2021″ was held for graduates of the Faculty of Humanities. The online conference was attended by students of the specialties “Kazakh language and literature”, “Kazakh language and literature in schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction”, “Russian language and literature”, “History”, “Foreign language: two foreign languages”, “Translation”, “Journalism”, representatives of enterprises and school principals. Among them: Acting Head of the Education Department of Almaty region G.T. Isagulova and representatives of district education departments, head of the State Institution “Taldykorgan Education Department” R.S. Barmanova, Director of Cubeware LLP Aliakbar E.A., director of the private school “INNOVERSE TALDYQORGAN” A.T. Aidarkhanov and others.
In his welcoming speech, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Tolamisov A.G. expressed special gratitude to employers for organizing professional practice, employment of students, wished graduates and employers fruitful work at the site of the career fair. During the event, employers familiarized those present with the nature, working conditions at their enterprises, requirements for employees, career prospects, the principals of the region’s schools noted the lack of specialists in Russian and English. Graduates, in turn, have prepared their resume; during the dialogue, they asked questions to employers, exchanged information on employment issues.
Summing up, the participants of the career fair noted the relevance of training highly professional and in-demand specialists with the necessary skills and competencies, able to adapt to changes in the modern labor market.
