Тhe Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov hosted a round table on the topic «Independence and lessons of history» dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the scientific and educational center «Ruhani Zhangyru». An introductory speech was made by the Member of the Management Board – Vice-Rector for Youth Policy, Ph.D., Professor B.Seriev. The event was moderated by K. Alikenova Ph.D., Associate Professor, Senior Researcher of the «Runhani Zhangyru» scientific and educational center.

The participants of the round table discussed and analyzed the history and peculiarities of the formation of independence of sovereign Kazakhstan, noting the successes and achievements of the country over 30 years, and also pointed out the need to strengthen the values of independence and statehood in the minds of young people.
