On December 6, 2021, at the Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the educational program of the natural science direction, a regular meeting of the planned scientific seminar was held.
The seminar was held with the participation of teachers and students dedicated to to the 30th anniversary of Independence.
А presentation of the research work of the lecturer B.Kerimbay on “Dynamic trends in the development of geosystems of the Charyn river basin” within the framework of a state grant was made аt the scientific seminar.
The relevance of research is due to the impact of global warming since the early twentieth century, and changes in human activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan over the past 30 years on the dynamics of geosystems in the Charyn River Basin. The research was carried out using the methods of remote sensing of the Earth, space monitoring of the digital platform, GIS technology, mapping and field research.
