From March 14 to March 19, 2022, the Higher School of Physical Culture and Art held the events “Week of Courage” within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the ZHU named after I.Zhansugurov.
The purpose of the campaign is to educate students with a high patriotic consciousness, a sense of loyalty to their Fatherland, readiness to fulfill their civic duty and constitutional obligations to protect the interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On March 14, 2022, a Memorial Day dedicated to the Afghan soldiers “No one was created for war” was held in secondary schools No. c4 and No. 19 with the participation of teachers of the NVP students of grades 8-9 and the teacher-lecturer B.S. Shayakhmetov. At the meeting, students of grades 8-9 asked questions, in their speeches, the guests told about themselves, their life path, how they ended up participating in military operations.
On March 16, 2022, a meeting with students of secondary school No. 19 was held in the walls of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov, in order to get acquainted with the university. During the meeting, the students got acquainted with the history of the university, with students of the Higher School of Physical Culture and Art. We visited the shooting range, the virtual laboratory “Askeri Robotics” (220 auditorium), as well as the military department.
On March 17, 2022, at secondary school No. 4 and No. 19, students of the OP “Initial Military Training” held a conversation with students of grades 8-10 on the topic “I am a patriot of my Homeland”. On March 18, 2022, as part of the internship, students of the 3rd-4th courses of the OP “Initial Military Training” held a lecture on civil defense with students of secondary schools No. 19 and No. 12, with the participation of the teacher-lecturer of the OP of General Development of the Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov Shayakhmetov B.Sh.
