In February 2022, at the initiative of teachers and students of the 2nd year of the specialty “Geography-History” of the Higher School of Natural Sciences of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, the student club of ZHU “Geographer – researcher” was created.
The student club is headed by 2nd year students Muratova Aruzhan and Abdikarimova Nazerke. Curator PhD – Geography, lecturer-teacher Kerimbai Bayan Suleimenovna.
The main purpose of the created organization is to study nature and natural–territorial complexes among young people and students, search for interesting phenomena in the world, discuss them with club members, promote creative research works on geography.
Tasks:
– development of research projects and support of youth initiatives that meet the set goals and activities;
– organizing and stimulating the active participation of young people in youth projects, as well as creating a system of education and training of active and initiative youth aimed at participating in such projects;
– participation students in the improvement and development of geographical science, fundamental and applied research and projects.
The meeting of the student club of ZHU “Geographer – researcher” is scheduled 2 times a month.
