On March 20, in Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov hosted a seminar on “Times Higher Education World University Rankings” organized by the Center for international cooperation and strategic development. The seminar was conducted by a member of the board – vice-rector for scientific work Aleftina Bakhtaulova. The purpose of the seminar is to study the foreign experience of participation of the world’s leading universities in the prestigious international Times Higher Education (the) rating, the issues of admission to it in domestic universities and inclusion in the rating of the best universities in the world. The seminar was attended by heads of structural divisions. All indicators of the rating and ways to participate in it were discussed at the seminar.
