Contest for funding academic mobility in the 1st semester of the 2023-2024 academic year
Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov announces a competition for studying at partner universities within the framework of academic mobility among students of 2-3 bachelor’s degree courses in the 1st semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. The financing of the MSHE RK covers the costs of flight, accommodation, insurance and consular fees for visa processing.
Requirements for participants:
– GPA above 3.0;
– The level of English language proficiency is not lower than B2;
– Training in the 1,2 course at the time of submission.
To participate in the competition, you must provide the following list of documents:
1. Application of the student in the form approved by the Rules of the organization of the educational process on credit technology of training approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 20, 2011 No. 152 (attached);
2. Completed application form of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who is going to study abroad (attached);
3. Agreement from parents (original, form is attached);
4. A copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
5. Transcript of current academic performance (must be obtained at the Registrar’s Office);
6. A document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language: IELTS certificate 5.5 and higher or another language certificate;
7. Copies of diplomas, certificates, diplomas in the chosen field of study received for participation in the event of the national or international level (if available);
8. Letter of recommendation from the dean of the higher school and the head of the OP;
9. Motivation letter (in Kazakh, Russian or English);
10. A document on the composition of the family, to confirm the large family of the student;
11. A document confirming the absence of the student’s parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care);
12. Document confirming the student’s disability;
13. Photo 3*4 – 4 pcs.
The documents must be sent to the physical address of the university office marked “To participate in the academic mobility competition”, or to submit via the electronic website egov.kz .

Due to the fact that the deadlines for submitting applications to foreign partner universities are limited, documents are accepted until April 17, 2023.
