DEAR COLLEAGUES, WE CONGRATULATE YOU ON THE DAY OF SCIENCE WORKERS!
Today is a significant day for our citizens and scientists from various fields of science who contribute to the prosperity of the country. Every year on April 12, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Science Workers.
The organization of scientific activity, the activation of the scientific initiative of students are one of the priorities of the university development. Since it is the youth who is an important subject of social change, and a huge innovative force.
A number of projects aimed at supporting young scientists have been launched at our university. Among them is the intra-university competition for grant financing of projects for commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities of young scientists “Jas ǵalym”. Prototypes, websites, applications have been developed, security documents have been obtained and articles have been published in rating journals. In 2021-2022, 15 projects worth 17 million tenge were implemented, currently 9 projects worth 12 million tenge are being implemented.
For further participation in the dialogue platform «COMMERCIALIZATION REACTOR», 5 projects of «Jas ǵalym» were presented by the Science Foundation at Oner-tabys Pitch. In 2022, a postdoctoral course in natural sciences was opened for the first time. From 2022 to 2024, 2 projects are being implemented.
An agreement was signed with the Association for the Support of Scientific Research for the joint holding of scientific events and this year for the first time 4 conferences were organized and held with indexing in the Scopus (Scopus) and Web of Science (Web of Science) databases. As a result of which more than 30 articles were published. Our scientists make an invaluable contribution to the development of science with their knowledge, work and enthusiasm. The University creates conditions for the development of scientific activities in all areas and provides support to scientists, especially young people.
