Scientific internship at the University of Zurich (Switzerland)
From March 1 to April 30, 2023, the staff of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov, Ph.D. N.K.Baigabatova and Master A.B. Kashaganova are undergoing a 2-month scientific internship at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) within the framework of the project “Law of Central Asia: Legal culture and business environment in Central Asia”. This 4-year research and training project funded by the European Commission’s H2020 MSCA-RISE program (project number 870647) aims to gain new knowledge about the interrelationships between legal culture, governance and the business environment in Central Asia. The project is implemented by 14 educational institutions in 11 countries of Europe and Central Asia: Lund University (project coordinator), University of Zurich, University of Manchester, Charles University, Marmara University, Istanbul Medipol University, Riga Graduate School of Law, University of Latvia, Zhetysu University.Zhansugurova, Westminster International University in Tashkent, Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan, SIAR Research and Consulting Center of Kyrgyzstan, Khujand Polytechnic Institute of the Tajik Technical University.During the internship, our scientists prepared articles on the project, had the opportunity to attend classes of leading teachers, participate in workshops and weekly colloquiums of the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology. As part of the internship, consultations and discussion of further plans for the implementation of the project are held with scientists from the University of Zurich, Professor P. Finke, Dr. M.Sanjak, by Dr. V. Herzog.
