Volleyball competitions among young men for selection to the National Student League of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov. The competition was attended by students of higher schools and Zhansugurov College.
The team of the Higher School of Humanities approached the competition with great preparation. Our volleyball players overcame the first stage and reached the playoff stage. In the semifinals, they defeated the Higher School of Natural Sciences with a score of 2:0 and won a ticket to the final.
In the final there was a tense game with the Higher School of Technical Sciences. Our athletes showed perseverance and brought the competition to the 3rd game. According to the results of the competition, our team became the silver medalist and took the second place. Last year, our team won bronze in this competition.
