On December 1, 2023, a round table “Spiritual values and education of the generation” was held at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, organized by the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology.
Young people should become a spiritually developed, full-fledged personality, constantly striving for self-improvement, along with comprehensive education. Spiritual education of the younger generation is an urgent requirement of the time. Education in the educational system requires coordination on a national and spiritual basis. To develop universal human values among young people, deepen knowledge about harmful habits (drug addiction, alcoholism) and educate them in a healthy lifestyle and morality. This event pursues this goal.
Specialists were invited to the event: the naib imam of Zhetysu region and the regional mosque “Iman” – Usmanov Nurlan Zhumanovich, a narcologist at the Mental Health Center of Zhetysu region – Moldakhanov Moldebulan Serikovich and an operative of the Department for Combating Drug Crime of Zhetysu Police Department – Police Lieutenant Colonel Iskakova Meruert Seitovna.
Topical issues of spiritual values formation among young people were discussed at the round table, the prevention of offenses, bad habits (drug addiction, alcoholism) and ways to solve them.
