From February 20 to 22, 2025, third-year students of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies at the Faculty of Humanities underwent teaching practice in secondary schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums in the city of Taldykorgan. This experience became an excellent opportunity for future specialists to strengthen their professional skills and apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
On February 27, a final conference was held, attended by students from groups ШТҚ 311, ШТҚ 312, ШТҚ 313, ИЯР 311, and ИЯР 221. During the event, students shared their impressions of the practice, discussing the methods and techniques they used in the teaching process. It was noted that during their lessons, they strived to apply modern pedagogical technologies to increase student engagement.
The conference also addressed the challenges students faced during their practice and ways to overcome them. Among these were increasing students’ interest in learning English, maintaining classroom discipline, and effectively organizing the learning process. Additionally, the importance of support and guidance from mentors who accompanied the students throughout the practice was emphasized.
Teaching practice provided students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-life conditions, gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of teaching, and develop professionally. Such experience plays a crucial role for future specialists, as the skills they acquire can be successfully applied in their future careers.
As a result of the conference, students not only shared their experiences but also received valuable recommendations on how to further develop their methodological and professional competencies. This inspired them for further growth and strengthened their motivation to become highly qualified specialists.
