As part of the Science Decade, the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics hosted a commemorative evening under the theme «Scientist – Science – Life».
During the event, attendees were introduced to the biographies, scientific achievements, and contributions of scholars who had dedicated many years of service to the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to learn about the scientific legacy of natural scientist Magripa Zhilkybayeva, who devoted 30 years to studying the inscriptions of the Golden Man discovered in the Issyk burial mound. Through the application of physico-mathematical methods, she succeeded in unlocking the secrets of these ancient writings.
The event proved to be engaging and meaningful for all participants.
The life paths and works of scientists serve as guiding lights, inspiring us to comprehend the noble ideals of science and strive toward new discoveries and scientific achievements. Their pursuit of truth and perseverance remain a powerful source of inspiration for current and future generations.
