1	To apply knowledge of the philological laws of the development and functioning of language systems, directions and periods of the development of linguistics; to determine the modern tasks of linguistics; to analyze the actual problems of modern linguistics.
2	To identify the features of the main directions and schools of Russian and foreign literature; to apply knowledge of the development of the world literary process, modern trends in literary studies; to interpret works of art.
3	Logically and systematically build oral and written communication in a foreign language; to use a foreign language as a means of international understanding and harmony in a multicultural world, to speak a foreign language at a professional level.
4	To organize training on the basis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the pedagogy of the Higher School, to determine the ways of effectively following the basic pedagogical concepts in education, to master the basic methods of management psychology and management theory, to use the possibilities of social and pedagogical design and forecasting; acquire practical skills, make creative decisions; establish professional, cultural relationships with colleagues.
