On November 29 an open lesson of teacher-lecturer of educational programs Journalism and Information, PhD Karimova Bibigul Zhumashovna on the topic «Citizen journalism and the Internet» was held.
This practical lesson in the discipline of multimedia journalism is of great importance for future journalists. After all, journalism is the fourth power. And civil journalism is a phenomenon that affects public opinion. Its peculiarity is that the reader is directly involved in the collection of information related to the event, citizens freely respond to articles published on the Internet. It’s part of Internet journalism.
As part of the open lesson, ZhK-311 students studied the online presentation of civil journalism, discussed the system and principles. In turn, they saw that citizen journalism plays an active role in information gathering, reporting, expertise and news dissemination.
