The Sports Club of Zhetysu university named after I. Zhansugurov organized a chess tournament among the teaching staff, employees and students of the chairman of the board – Rector’s Cup. The competition was held according to the rules approved by the Chess Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A total of 8 teams took part in the chess competition.
According to the results of the competition in the team competition among teachers
I place Faculty of Humanities,
II place Faculty of Law and economics,
The third place is taken by Zhu college.
Among the students

The third place was taken by Zhu college.
The prize–winning teachers, students and teams were awarded the cup of the chairman of the management board-Rector, medals, diplomas and a cash prize of the trade union organization.
