Trade Union

The main objective of the Trade Union is to represent and protect the social and labor rights and professional interests of union’s members.

to exercise public oversight over compliance with labor legislation, the implementation of collective agreements and contracts, occupational health and safety, and compliance with legislation on social insurance, healthcare, social security, and other forms of social protection for employees;
to provide free methodological, advisory, legal, and material assistance to Trade Union members;
to organize and conduct health-promoting, cultural, and educational activities for Trade Union members and their families;
to strengthen and develop professional solidarity, mutual assistance, and cooperation among trade union organizations and their members;
to participate in the implementation of the social partnership agreement on improving women’s working and living conditions, leisure opportunities, the protection of motherhood and childhood, protection against violence and harassment in the workplace, and the development and consideration of proposals and recommendations;
to ensure the training, retraining, and professional development of trade union personnel, as well as the training of trade union employees and members.

to represent and protect the rights and legitimate interests of its members;
to participate in the pre-trial settlement of labor disputes;
to participate in the resolution of individual and collective labor disputes in accordance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on mediation;
to exercise public oversight over the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of its members;
to conduct negotiations and prepare and conclude agreements and collective bargaining agreements;
to engage in publishing activities and publicize its activities through the mass media and at enterprises.
