The ski racing competition was held among the faculty, staff, and students of Zhetysu University as part of the winter “Presidential Test”. Six professors and six students from each faculty participated in the event. The men raced over a distance of 3 km, while the women competed over 2 km.
The aim of the event was to promote cross-country skiing among faculty, staff, and students, as well as to enhance physical fitness and develop individual sports skills.
Following the results of the competition, the Pedagogy and Psychology Faculty took first place in the team standings, the Physics and Mathematics Faculty placed second, and the Law and Economics Faculty secured third place.
A total of 108 participants took part in the ski races.
