On February 24-25, 2025, a delegation from Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, led by the Chairman of the Board – Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Ermek Buribayev, visited several leading universities in Uzbekistan to strengthen international cooperation and discuss prospective areas of collaboration.
During the visit, meetings were held with the leadership of Tashkent International University, Tashkent State Agrarian University, Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami and the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meetings covered key areas of cooperation, including:
- Joint Programs and Academic Mobility
The possibility of joint educational programs aimed at strengthening academic exchange between universities was discussed.
- Scientific Research and Joint Projects
The parties expressed their willingness to participate in joint scientific research, publications, and international conferences. In particular, the prospects for cooperation in the fields of pedagogy, law, digital technologies in education, agrobiotechnology, and sustainable agricultural development were discussed.
- Professional Development Programs and Internships
The organization of professional development and internship programs for teachers and students was reviewed.
Results of the Meetings:
- Memorandums of cooperation were signed with 3 leading universities in Uzbekistan;
- Agreements were made to develop academic mobility;
- Directions for joint scientific research and educational initiatives were defined.
Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov continues to actively develop international cooperation, opening new opportunities for students and faculty within the global educational space.
