Agriculture is a strategically important branch of the country. This affects the standard of living and well-being of not only one person, but also the general population. Zh. and lecturers Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Ormanbetov M. B., Candidate of Biological Sciences Akmullayeva A. S., RD Absatarova D. A. The seminar “today and tomorrow of the specialty of Agronomy”, organized by specialized state institutions of the Zhetysu region, an agricultural production cooperative, peasant farms and students of the educational program “Agronomy”, was held on April 28, 2025. The purpose of the seminar –
1. Present and future of the specialty Agronomy; training of agronomists in Semirechye;
2. Creating conditions for the employment of graduates, specialty Agronomy;
3. Approval of the work plan on a contractual basis with the university and farms of the Zhetysu region for the training of agronomy specialists.
Specially invited specialists Sharipov A. K. Head of the Association of Farmers of Zhetysu region; Etekekbayev K. S. Head of the department “State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate of Zhetysu region”; Beglov R. B. Head of the department “State Inspectorate for Phytosanitary Control Posts”; Auesbekova Sh. E. head of the department “Technical Inspection of the Department of Agriculture of Zhetysu region Chief specialist of the Department of Control and Water farms; Abdeldinova Oryntai Zhumabekovna by the Zher-Ana agricultural production cooperative; Urazov N. A. farm “Nurzhan-AGRO”; Kalibek A. Farm “Arsen” shared topical issues of the region and students asked their questions. In the future, a work plan was approved with government agencies – employers of the Zhetysu region, agricultural production cooperatives, peasant farms, and the need for joint participation in the adaptation of future specialists to agro-innovation and agricultural technologies was emphasized. The seminar was held at a very high level.
