On June 23, 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Department of the Committee for State Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Zhetysu Region and Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov .
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties plan to carry out joint activities in several key areas. These include the implementation of state policy in the field of labor relations regulation, ensuring state oversight of compliance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and protecting the rights and freedoms of workers, including the right to safe working conditions.
Particular attention will also be given to the effective organization of seminars and internships for students, as well as the implementation of joint scientific research.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important step in enhancing the scientific potential of Zhetysu University, opening up new opportunities for faculty and students to study the legal aspects of labor relations, engage in academic research, and carry out projects in the field of labor.
