Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov is delighted to announce an important event in the academic life of our university. The Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of the Faculty of Humanities at Zhetysu University successfully passed the competitive selection process and was awarded the opportunity to host an English Language Fellow for one academic year as part of the prestigious international English Language Fellow program.
As part of this program, organized by the U.S. Consulate General in Almaty, Zhetysu University will welcome an American volunteer teacher, Bronwyn Schieber (Georgetown University), representatives of the Consulate’s Public Diplomacy Section along with the representatives of Zhetysu region Education Department.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss cooperation opportunities, the organization of joint projects, and educational activities aimed at enhancing English language teaching in the region.
