A scientific and practical seminar dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Shokan Ualikhanov was held in the village of Shokan. Duisen Sandybaevich Ansabayev, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, made a presentation and his song “Shokanym – Otanym“, written with Zhangazy Zheksenbayev, was presented. Students of the school named after Sh. Ualikhanov showed a concert program. The evening ended with the national anthem of the Kerbulak district, written by Duisen Sandybaevich.
