On September 13–14, 2025, in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, at the Central Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship, students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Art of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov achieved outstanding results:
- Kenzhebay Daryn — 1st place in the youth category, 62 kg weight class
- Talgatkyzy Danagul— 1st place in the women’s category
