An open curatorial hour on the topic “My homeland is Kazakhstan” was held

On October 23, 2025, at the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty of Humanities at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, an open curatorial hour dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty was held under the guidance of curator D.G. Karatayeva, together with 2nd-year students of the educational program 6B01602 – History and Social Studies (IP).
During the event, students delivered presentations on Kazakhstan’s development before and after gaining independence, highlighted historical facts, and presented short performances illustrating the path of the sovereign state’s formation. In addition, the curator and students discussed the country’s achievements, the importance of preserving national identity, and the role of patriotic education. At the end of the event, participants watched the video “Independence as an Invaluable Treasure” and shared their impressions.
