Zhetysu university named after I. Zhansugurov, in partnership with the Republican Public Association “ZHANARU” – the Nationwide Anti-Corruption Movement, organized a Student Spartakiad.
The main objectives of the competition are to conduct selection for the National Student Leagues, promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, enhance individual athletic skills, and strengthen sportsmanship and friendly relations between faculties.
The competition featured six sports: track and field (4×100 m relay), togyzqumalaq, kettlebell lifting (18 kg), swimming (50 m), volleyball, and table tennis.
A total of 190 students took part in the event, proudly representing their respective faculties.
The winners and prize holders of the Spartakiad will be honored at an upcoming awards ceremony.
