On 7 November 2025, the Faculty of Humanities at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov concluded History Week held under the theme “History: a Lesson from the Past, Guidance for the Future”. The final ceremony was dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Kazakh educator and public figure Mirzhakyp Dulatov.
During the event, students of the “History” educational programme presented a staged performance reflecting Dulatov’s life, literary legacy, and his unwavering struggle for the future of the nation. The results of the subject-based Olympiad held throughout History Week were also announced, with the winning teams and outstanding students being formally recognized and awarded.
A festive concert programme added a celebratory spirit to the evening and brought the week to a memorable close. This event served not only as the concluding point of History Week but also as an important reminder to students of the significance of fostering national spirit and historical consciousness.
