On 24 November 2025, at 14:00, in the Main Building of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Conference Hall 313, a scholarly roundtable discussion will be held on the topic: “100 Years Since the Restoration of the Ethnonym ‘Qazaq’ and the Introduction of the Term “Kazakh Khanate” into Academic Discourse”.
The event will feature the following distinguished speakers:
- Duissenali Abdilashimuly – Professor at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Japan), Doctor of Historical Sciences;
- Bereket Bakhytzhanovich Karibayev – Professor at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Yerzhan Olzhabayevich Bulanov – Senior Lecturer at the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Candidate of Historical Sciences.
