Today, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov hosted a meeting with the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, well-known journalist and media manager Nurzhan Zhalaukyzy Mukhamedzhanova.
The meeting was also attended by well-known journalist and producer Nartai Otegen, head of the press service of the Akim of Zhetysu Region Aigerim Agyltayeva, head of the regional Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation Kuanish Suleimenov, as well as media representatives and students.
Nurzhan Zhalaukyzy shared the experience she has gained over many years of professional activity, speaking to students about the development of domestic media, the specifics of working in the television industry, and the professional responsibilities of a journalist.
During the meeting, the speaker also focused on the opportunities offered by digital journalism and the impact of media on society. In her speech, she emphasized:
“The main tool that shapes national ideology in public consciousness is the press. In an era of continuous information flow, it is extremely important to be able to obtain reliable data and filter incoming information,” noted Nurzhan Zhalaukyzy.
Future journalists of Zhetysu University received valuable professional advice from an experienced practitioner and learned about the subtleties of working in the mass media field.
At the end of the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask their questions and exchange opinions.
