Department of youth policy and social development organized a Gratitude Forum for the International volunteer Day in cooperation with the Lider.kz volunteer center.
Bolat Seriyev, Member of the Board – Vice-Rector for social work and youth policy, delivered a welcoming speech, noting the importance of joint work and the great contribution of the Zhetysu University Volunteer staff to the implementation of youth policy and the development of volunteerism in the region.
Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov has an active Volunteer staff. Currently, it consists of 13 voluntary groups, more than 1,500 volunteers. This is a vivid manifestation of the unity, cohesion and activity of the students.
We have been working closely with the Volunteer Center ” Lider.kz ” for about 5-6 years. During this time, we have held many large-scale and instructive events together. This is the result of a common goal and a reliable partnership.
More than 40 third-party partner organizations, representatives of government agencies and the media took part in Friday’s event.
Head of the Volunteer Center “Lider.kz” Matvey Shvedin conveyed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Board – Rector Ermek Buribaуev for his constant support in the implementation of youth initiatives and fruitful joint work.
