The Kazakhstan Weightlifting Championship among adults was held in Astana.
Akzhol Kurmanbek, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, delivered outstanding results:
– 152 kg in the clean and jerk,
– 200 kg in the snatch, setting a new national record and claiming the title of Champion of Kazakhstan!
