On November 25, 2025, a lecturer of the Department of Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, PhD S. Sakibayev, conducted a scientific seminar entitled “The Use of ANN in Scientific Research Activities.”
During the seminar, the main areas and modern possibilities of applying artificial neural networks (Artificial Neural Networks, ANN) in scientific research were examined. Participants became familiar with effective methods of using ANN for data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and optimization of complex processes.
In addition, the basic principles of neural network design, the stages of their training, as well as the advantages and limitations of applying ANN in solving practical problems were discussed. The seminar provided relevant and valuable practice-oriented information for lecturers, doctoral students, and early-career researchers engaged in research activities.
