From 15 to 21 December 2025, researchers from the Faculty of Law and Economics of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov completed a research internship at Istanbul University (Turkey). The internship participants included the Dean of the Faculty, Galym Teleuov; Senior Lecturer Olessya Lemechshenko; as well as doctoral students Galymzhan Akhmet and Aizhan Moldagaliyeva.
During the internship, academic consultations were held with leading scholars of Istanbul University, including the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Fethi Gedikli, as well as leading legal scholars Prof. Dr. Emrehan İnal and Prof. Dr. Cemil Kaya.
Along with expert discussions of research issues, the participants attended a Symposium on current developments in the field of family law in the Year of the Family and collected academic publications related to their ongoing research.
