A traditional Spartakiad was held among the faculty members and staff of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.
The competition featured 9 sports disciplines, including volleyball, swimming, table tennis, chess, togyzqumalaq, kettlebell lifting, futsal, relay races, and tug of war.
The aim of the Spartakiad was to promote a healthy lifestyle among the university’s faculty and staff. A total of 236 participants took part in the sporting events.
According to the overall team standings, the winning teams, as well as all participating teams, were awarded cash prizes, trophies, medals, and certificates of appreciation.
First place was claimed by the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, second place by the Zhansugurov College, and third place by the Faculty of Humanities.
