At Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugirov, a hackathon titled “Does This Nation Know Ilyas?” was held among second-year students. The main goal of the event was to present modern ideas aimed at modernizing the educational process and to enhance students’ creative potential through the practical demonstration of artificial intelligence.
During the hackathon, participants adapted to teamwork, developed creative thinking skills, and improved their professional competence. Innovative projects dedicated to the life and works of Ilyas Zhansugirov were developed and publicly presented. In addition, expressive readings of the poet’s works clearly demonstrated respect for artistic expression and strong literary analysis skills.
According to the competition results, second-year journalism students were awarded third place for their active participation and substantive projects. This hackathon contributed to increasing the research initiative and intellectual curiosity of the younger generation.
