On January 19, 2026, an intra-university seminar for young scientists entitled «Registration of Initiative Research Projects in the System of the National Center of Science and Technnology Evaluation (NCSTE)» was held. The seminar was attended by the supervisors of scientific projects.
The main objective of the seminar was to explain the procedure for registering initiative research projects in the NCSTE system, as well as to provide methodological support for projects by young scientists aimed at the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities.
During the seminar, Zhairbekova Talshyn, Manager of the Office of Research Projects and Technology Commercialization, highlighted the key stages of registering initiative projects in the NCSTE system. In particular, the procedures for system registration, requirements for entering project data, rules for uploading the required documents, as well as common mistakes encountered during project registration and ways to avoid them were explained in detail. The seminar was attended by Karasholakova Lazat, Director of the Department of Science and Commercialization, who shared her views on topical issues related to the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities. In addition, Kaykibayeva Ainur, Head of the Office of Research Projects and Technology Commercialization, provided explanations on issues related to determining the level of technology readiness during project registration. Full and comprehensive answers were provided to all questions raised by the participants.
As a result of the seminar, participants obtained the necessary information on registering initiative research projects in the NCSTE system. The event contributed to the high-quality preparation of commercialization-oriented projects by young researchers and ensured their timely submission to the grant funding competition.
