DEPARTMENT OF DIGITAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Mission — to ensure the sustainable development of the university’s digital ecosystem and IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and implement the digitalization and automation of key processes using modern digital and AI technologies in order to enhance the quality of educational and other university services.

The Department’s activities are focused on the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced digital solutions that improve efficiency, information security, and process transparency, increase staff productivity, and reduce administrative costs.

TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT
  • Development of the university’s digital ecosystem and IT infrastructure.
  • Digitalization and automation of the university’s core operational processes, including the creation of digital services.
  • Provision of the university with hardware and software resources.
  • Ensuring information security and the protection of personal data within the university’s digital ecosystem and IT infrastructure.
  • Planning, organization, control, and management of the digitalization process at the university.
FUNCTIONS
  • Unification and standardization of the university’s digitalization processes in accordance with the regulatory and legal documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Coordination of the implementation of the university’s digitalization development strategy.
  • Coordination of the implementation of the university’s digitalization development strategy.
  • Organization of the implementation of digital solutions and technical support.
  • Organization of the development of the university’s digital ecosystem and IT infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the high-quality performance of the digital ecosystem and IT infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and ensuring information security of the digital ecosystem and IT infrastructure.
  • Control and coordination of the work of university-wide commissions on technical matters.
  • Organization of the university’s technical activities based on monitoring and analysis of modern solutions and requirements.
