On January 26, 2023, a seminar entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Language Education and Translation: New Horizons” was held at the Faculty of Humanities of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.
The seminar was organized by lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies G.M. Omarbekova and L.K. Myrzakhmet. During the seminar, the possibilities and advantages of using artificial intelligence technologies in language education and translation were discussed. In particular, the effectiveness of the Canva, Vrew, Heygen, Grok and Gemini platforms in the educational process was demonstrated, and participants completed practical tasks.
The event was attended by the faculty members of the Faculty of Humanities, who emphasized the relevance and informative value of the seminar and expressed their warm appreciation to the organizers.
