From February 12–13, 2026, an interuniversity sports tournament was held, organized by Almaty Technological University.
In this competition, students of Zhetysu University competed in volleyball (men’s team), futsal (women’s team), chess, and toguzkumalak.
The aim of the tournament was to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, develop volleyball and futsal, and strengthen friendly relations among students of higher education institutions.
In the overall team standings, Zhetysu University won 1st place. In particular:
— the men’s volleyball team took 1st place,
— the women’s futsal team took 1st place,
— chess — 2nd place,
— toguzkumalak — 3rd place.
Congratulations to the Zhetysu University team on their excellent results!
