Students of groups ZhK111, ZhK112, and KBK111, enrolled in the “Journalism” and “Public Relations” educational programs of the Department of Journalism, successfully completed their academic internship. The internship took place from January 19 to February 14, 2026. During this period, students gained professional experience at the educational television studio, radio studio, and the Center for Image Policy of Zhetysu University. Each student assigned to these divisions was required to prepare at least 2–3 informational materials, develop their creative abilities, and improve their professional skills. At the end of the nearly month-long internship, a final conference was organized. It was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, R. Zheldibayeva, a specialist from the university’s Academic Affairs Office, A. Koishymanova, as well as the department staff. The young journalists and future PR specialists presented and defended their first practical projects, including video reports, radio programs, and image-focused works. They spoke about the challenges and difficulties they encountered, emphasizing that this stage became an important professional school for them. Participants of the final event highly appreciated the students’ first professional steps and noted that the internship was meaningful and productive.
