


























Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov hosted the international scientific and practical conference “Values in the Context of Changing Paradigms: Guidelines for the Individual, Society and Civilizations in the 21st Century.”
The conference brought together scholars and educators from higher education institutions of Kazakhstan and abroad, as well as Deputy Akim of Zhetysu Region M. Kоlbayev and Chair of the Regional Maslikhat G. Toylybayeva.
The plenary session was moderated by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Yermek Buribayev, who opened the event by delivering the welcoming address specially sent by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S. Nurbek.
The purpose of the conference was to identify new directions for the development of the individual, society, and civilization in the context of contemporary globalization, technological breakthroughs, and the accelerated transformation of social values.
At the plenary session, presentations were delivered by scholars from the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan; Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University; Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (Russia); K. Karasaev Bishkek State University; Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University; and B.N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
At the conclusion of the plenary session, a presentation of the collective monograph “Paradigms of Value Attitudes and Value Consciousness in Kazakhstani Society: Trends, Dynamics, Perspectives” was held. The publication was edited by A. Kulsarieva and Y. Buribayev.
The sectional meetings of the conference were organized around the following thematic areas: “Philosophical Foundations and Methodology of Value Studies,” “Values of the Individual in the Context of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities,” “Society and Values: Tradition and Modernization,” “Intercultural Communication and Dialogue of Civilizations,” “Literature and Art as Custodians of Values,” and “Education and Upbringing within the Value Orientations of the 21st Century.”
The international scientific and practical conference served as a platform for scholars to discuss issues of personal development in the 21st century, the stability of social institutions, and harmonious trajectories of civilizational progress, as well as to exchange ideas in the humanities, social sciences, culture, and philosophy.






“Independence and values: spiritual transformation of Kazakhstan’s society”.
On the basis of the Center for Аxiological research and media technologies of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov аn important interview was organized within the framework of the scientific program “BR24993269 Evolution and Transformation of Value Orientations in Kazakhstani Society During the Independence Period”.
Within the framework of this program, a meaningful interview was held with a journalist, poet, honored writer of Kazakhstan, laureate of the International Literary Prize “Alash” Amre Arin. During the conversation, issues of spiritual and cultural values of Kazakhstan’s society over the years of independence, changes in public consciousness, the role of literature and Journalism at the present stage, national identity and civic position were discussed.
The interview was conducted by senior researcher of the program, doctoral student Abdimanap Chingiz. In accordance with the objectives of the research project, the meeting was aimed at a deeper explanation of the processes of value transformation in society, intellectual exchange of views and enrichment of the content of humanitarian research.
The interview materials will be used for research work within the framework of this scientific program, analytical publications and the development of scientific and educational products.
Zhetysu university named after I. Zhansugurov will continue to systematically carry out such meaningful initiatives aimed at the development of domestic science and public thought.
“The Value of Unity in the Kazakh Language”.
