Zhetysu University students study Italian

On March 2, 2026, Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov welcomed Italian language instructor Alessandro Grassi and Lyubov Grassi, Director of the Italian language learning center Letteratè, on an official visit. This visit marked a continuation of the university’s systematic efforts to expand international cooperation and enhance the quality of foreign language education.

During the meeting with the university leadership, a wide range of issues was thoroughly discussed, including improving the teaching of Italian for students and faculty of the branch of Marche Polytechnic University, strengthening the academic and methodological framework, implementing joint educational projects, and further developing academic ties. The parties explored opportunities to align language training with international standards, promote experience exchange, and launch joint programs in the future.

In addition, Alessandro Grassi conducted an open class in an interactive format for course participants—students and faculty members. The session introduced attendees to Italian speech culture, correct pronunciation, language structures used in everyday communication, and modern teaching methodologies. Through practical tasks, participants enhanced their language skills and gained hands-on experience in applying Italian in real-life situations.

It is worth noting that the Italian language course began on December 12, 2025. Currently, the course is delivered in both online and offline formats and is aimed at developing the linguistic competence of students and faculty. The program enables participants to communicate freely with international partners and contributes to the advancement of academic and cultural cooperation.
