Today, a ceremonial event titled “You Gave Me the Light of the World”, dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day, was held at the Biken Rimova Academic Drama Theatre.
During the festive evening, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, Yermek Buribayev, congratulated the women of the university community on the bright spring holiday and highly praised the dedicated work of employees who make a significant contribution to the development of science and higher education. In his speech, he emphasized the important role of mothers and women in society as the keepers of the family hearth, the source of prosperity, and the embodiment of kindness and compassion.
During the ceremony, a number of employees who faithfully perform their professional duties were honored with awards.
The Rector’s Certificate of Honor was awarded to members of the university’s maintenance department: Maira Nuralinova, Gulnar Shayanbayeva, Gulzat Terlikbayeva, and Akmaral Myrzakhanova.
In addition, Raisa Smakova, Shamziya Zholtabarova, Gulmira Kyzaybekova, and Zhanar Kendzhegulova received Letters of Appreciation from the university administration for their responsible and dedicated work.
The celebration, which became a vivid expression of respect and appreciation for women, concluded with a concert program.
