Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov announces the holding of the Student Research Work Competition on 28–29 April 2026 on the theme: “Social Sciences and Humanities in the Context of Global Transformations: Challenges and Strategies for Societal Development”.
The competition is aimed at developing students’ research activities, supporting innovative ideas among young people, fostering research competencies, as well as stimulating the scientific potential of students.
Within the framework of the competition, it is envisaged to identify promising student research devoted to current issues in the development of society, economics, law, education, as well as other areas of the social sciences and humanities.
Students who demonstrate an interest in research activities and present the results of their own studies on the declared theme are invited to participate in the competition.
The competition will be held at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
The competition provides for a prize fund in the amount of 500,000 tenge, including: 1st place — 200,000 tenge; 2nd place — two prize-winning places of 100,000 tenge each; 3rd place — two prize-winning places of 50,000 tenge each.
