On March 21, 2026, a delegation from Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, as part of an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, visited the Yuchun Agricultural Mobile Orchard, located in Tongchuan City, Yintai District, Shaanxi Province. The mobile agricultural orchard utilizes intelligent greenhouses to produce fruit harvests during the off-season.
Through the implementation of advanced planting methods and intelligent management systems, the orchard has developed into a research center achieving significant results in mechanization, digitalization, and large-scale production. Serving as a practical training base for local educational institutions, the center applies modern technologies for cultivating disease-free fruit trees.
With 35 years of professional experience, the orchard’s director has been awarded 68 patents and 42 state awards, and has contributed to the education of more than 1,800 learners. The orchard’s management expressed their readiness to train students of Zhetysu University, promote faculty exchange, and establish cooperation based on mutual interests.
Rector Yermek Buribayev emphasized the importance of this collaboration, noting that the visit represents a continuation of partnership relations between the two neighboring countries in the fields of education and science.
