On April 9, 2026, within the framework of the Decade of Science, the ceremonial opening of the Linguodidactic Laboratory named after linguist scholar K. Sarbasova took place. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Doctor of Law, Professor Yermek Buribayev, who delivered a welcoming address. In his speech, the Rector emphasized that the newly established laboratory holds particular importance for the training of future philology specialists, enhancing the quality of language education, and introducing modern linguodidactic technologies into the educational process.
The ceremonial event brought together leading scholars from national higher education institutions, experts in linguistics, representatives of the academic community, faculty members of the university, school teachers, and students. During the event, the significant contribution of K. Sarbasova to the development of science and education was highlighted, and the importance of preserving and continuing her scientific legacy was emphasized. The material and technical equipment of the laboratory was provided with the sponsorship support of the family of scholar-educator K. Sarbasova, serving as a notable example of civic responsibility and support for the advancement of science and education.
Furthermore, as part of the event, the Innovative Projects Competition «Til Daryn» named after scholar-educator K. Sarbasova was held among school students.
The objective of the «Til Daryn» competition is to support creative and innovative projects in the field of philology, promote the integration of modern technologies into language learning, develop the potential of young inventors, researchers, and future linguists, and popularize the scientific works of regional philological scholars. The competition is dedicated to the scientific legacy of scholar-educator Karlygash Bazarbekovna Sarbasova.
A total of 12 projects were submitted to the competition by students from schools in the Alakol, Sarkand, and Eskeldi districts of the Zhetysu Region, as well as from the city of Taldykorgan.

2nd Place – Mukhagali Rakhymqazy, Darmen Dastanuly. Academic Supervisor: Roza Sergazievna Dukenbayeva. Municipal State Institution “Secondary School-Lyceum No. 29”, Taldykorgan. Prize fund: 50,000 tenge.
3rd Place – Nariman Alimurat. Academic Supervisors: Madina Askarkyzy Moldagaliyeva, Samat Kanatuly Abish. Municipal State Institution “Secondary School with a Preschool Mini-Center, Lepsy Village”. Prize fund: 30,000 tenge.

Nomination “Best Linguistic Project” – Aizere Murat. Academic Supervisor: Aigerim Erbolkyzy Koishybay. Municipal State Institution “Secondary School No. 21 with a Preschool Mini-Center, Utenay Village”, Taldykorgan.
All participants were awarded commemorative gifts and letters of appreciation. In addition, a regional seminar for academic supervisors on the topic “Artificial Intelligence and Academic Writing: Opportunities and Development Prospects” was conducted, and certificates were presented to all participants.
