On the occasion of Science Day, we sincerely congratulate the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Humanities who have achieved outstanding results in the fields of science, education, and creativity.
In honor of this significant occasion, a number of our faculty members and students have received awards of various levels. In particular, the badge “For Contribution to the Development of the Native Language” was awarded to Lazat Alyakhimetovna Chaltikenova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature.
The Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education was awarded to Bekzat Tynysbekovna Kaliyeva, PhD, Head of the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines.
A Letter of Appreciation from the Akim of Taldykorgan City was awarded to Bibigul Zhumashovna Karimova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Head of the Department of Journalism.
For high achievements in research activity, Nazgul Kazhimuratovna Baigabatova was awarded as a winner of the scientific and/or scientific-technical grant projects for 2025–2027 funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
For publishing articles in highly ranked journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, a monetary award of 90,000 tenge was presented to Bibigul Zhumashovna Karimova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Head of the Department of Journalism, and Meruyert Kebekovna Abaideldanova, PhD, Lecturer of the Faculty of Humanities.

For publishing articles in highly ranked journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, a monetary award of 120,000 tenge was presented to Raigul Serikovna Zheldibayeva, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Nazgul Kazhimuratovna Baigabatova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Humanities; Mamilya Turgambayevna Dzhakypbekova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Professor of the Faculty of Humanities; Shara Asetovna Kyyakhmetova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Professor of the Faculty of Humanities; and Bekzat Tynysbekovna Kaliyeva, PhD, Head of the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines.
For winning prize places in the 2025 Republican Subject Olympiad, by the Letter of Appreciation of the Chairman of the Board – Rector, the third-place winners – students of the educational program 6B03202 – “Public Relations” of the Faculty of Humanities – Meruyert Kairatkyzy Abdugapar, Anelya Askatkyzy Zhumagali, and Zeynep Askarkyzy Saken were awarded. Their supervisor, Bibigul Zhumashovna Karimova, PhD, Head of the Department of Journalism, was also awarded.
In addition, by the Letter of Appreciation of the Chairman of the Board – Rector, the second-place winners of the Republican Subject Olympiad – students of the educational program 6B01701 – “Kazakh Language and Literature” of the Faculty of Humanities – Zhasmin Erzhanqyzy Nurzhapar, Ayim Quatqyzy Nurtuleu, Aruzhan Nurtileuqyzy, and Nurai Zhumagaliqyzy were awarded. Their supervisor, Madina Bolatovna Tumabayeva, Master’s degree holder and Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, was also awarded.
For winning a prize in the 2025 Republican Competition of Students’ Research Works, by the Letter of Appreciation of the Chairman of the Board – Rector, the third-place winner, Abzal Asylbekuly, a student of the educational program 6B01601 – “History” of the Faculty of Humanities, was awarded. His academic supervisor, Erzhan Olzhabayevich Bulanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Lecturer of the Department of History and Humanities, was also awarded.
Furthermore, the second-place winners of the Republican Competition of Students’ Research Works – Asem Nurken and Merey Sakenov, students of the educational program 6B01704 – “Russian Language and Literature (in schools with a non-Russian language of instruction)” of the Faculty of Humanities – were awarded. Their academic supervisor, Kristina Aleksandrovna Chesnokova, Master’s degree holder and Lecturer of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, was also awarded.
The first-place winner of the Republican Competition of Students’ Research Works was Meiirim Kuanyshbaykyzy Zhumagali, a student of the educational program 6B02303 – “Philology” of the Faculty of Humanities. Her academic supervisor, Aina Maratovna Abyzova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, was also awarded.
In 2025, for winning the Grand Prix and being recognized as a laureate of the national competition “The Bright Path of Alash in the 21st Century,” Aidyn Altaiuly Altai, a second-year doctoral student of the educational program 8D01701 – “Kazakh Language and Literature,” was awarded by the Letter of Appreciation of the Chairman of the Board – Rector. His academic supervisor, Aina Maratovna Abyzova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, was also awarded
In addition, by the Diploma of the Chairman of the Board – Rector, the winners in the nomination “Best Business Idea” – Arai Rysbekovna Alibekova, Riana Rashidovna Ismazova, and Asylai Almasqyzy Adil – were awarded. The project supervisor is Assel Kerimovna Toktanova. The project title is: “A Course on Improving the Level and Quality of Tourism in the Zhetysu Region and Promoting Student Employment”.
Also, Nurila Zhumanqyzy Myrzabek, the third-place winner, was awarded a diploma and a certificate worth 60,000 (sixty thousand) tenge. The project supervisor is Mamilya Turgambayevna Dzhakypbekova. The project title is OnoMap Ilyas.
