Within the framework of the external academic mobility program of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Department of Ecology and Agricultural Sciences of the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences, on 21.04.2026, PhD Dr. Marco Fiorentini, together with the faculty members of the university, as part of research and educational activities, conducted a field visit to the peasant farm “Bolat”. In addition, an exploratory field expedition to the mountainous region of Tekeli was organized, aimed at studying natural ecosystems and assessing the state of the environment.
During the expeditions, observations of biodiversity were carried out, along with analyses of soil conditions, water resources, and vegetation cover, as well as the identification of anthropogenic impact factors.
The obtained results are used for conducting scientific research, training students, and developing recommendations for environmental protection.
