From April 19 to 24, 2026, an open boccia tournament of the Zhambyl region was held in Taraz.
At this competition, Kuanysh Askarbekov, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, demonstrated excellent performance and won 1st place.
This achievement is the result of our athlete’s tireless work and perseverance. May there be many more victorious days ahead!
